PURCHASING FROM US

By submitting your order, you are offering to buy our goods and allowing us to use your details to supply products/services. We do not sell your details or pass them on to anyone else in any circumstances, under the Data Protection Act 1998. We are not obliged to supply goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order. At this point, a contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full. If you discover you have made a mistake with your order, please contact us immediately. Please do this before we confirm your order. By ordering from us you agree to opt-in to our marketing mailing lists, which you can opt-out of anytime (See the section on Marketing).

ONLINE PRICES

We always ensure that the best possible prices are available online at this website. We do this through applying promotional pricing to our website, which may differ from our printed menus, which may be outdated. You will likely pay more by ordering from other websites, as they will be using our standard prices and can not take advantage of the promotional pricing you will enjoy here.

REFUND POLICY

Any refunds are at the sole discretion of the manager on duty. Refunds will not be given for mistakes on your part when ordering or if you choose to change your mind. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact the shop on 01462 731009 and make a complaint. This is applicable for both cash and card orders. Making a complaint does not guarantee a refund. We may offer alternatives to monetary refunds, for example, substitutes for goods. By ordering online, you accept that this could be the case and agree to any fair substitute.

PRIVACY POLICY

Our website and connected services use cookies to allow us to provide our service online. If you do not consent to us storing cookies on your machine, then please do not use the website. Your contact details may be shared with our service provider and between our other companies for reasons not limited to fraud prevention and marketing. AGE RESTRICTED ITEMS

Where alcohol or tobacco products are sold, we must comply with the law and restrict the sale of these items to minors. El Mexicana reserves the right to cancel any transaction where it reasonably believes the purchaser is either not of the required legal age or purchasing products on behalf of a minor. We aim to deliver your order within the quoted times, but please consider traffic and weather conditions. During busy periods, your order may take longer. We may or may not have time to notify you, but please be patient or feel free to call us to check up on your order. Delivery times are approximate and cannot be guaranteed.

  1. Promotional Period: Valid exclusively on Saturday, 31st October 2026, during operating hours.

  2. Redemption Channels: Valid for orders placed in-person at the counter, via self-serve in-store kiosks, or through the official El Mex direct online ordering portal. Excludes third-party delivery services (Deliveroo, UberEats, Just Eat).

  3. Qualifying Purchase: Requires the purchase of at least one (1) full-priced individual main meal (Burrito, Bare Burrito, Quesadilla, Tacos, Enchiladas) from our main category.

  4. Code Entry: Customers must state or enter the promo code TRICKORCHURRO at checkout prior to payment.

  5. Entitlement: One (1) complimentary portion of 5 Classic Churros per qualifying transaction.

  6. Exclusions:

    • Offer cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any Meal Deals, Value Bundles, Kids Meals, or other promotional discounts, coupons, or offers.

    • Offer excludes third-party delivery platforms (including, but not limited to, Deliveroo, UberEats, and Just Eat) unless explicitly stated.

  7. Limits: Maximum of one (1) free portion of 5 Classic Churros per customer, per transaction.

  8. Availability: All redemptions are subject to stock availability on the day. No cash or alternative product substitute will be offered in the event of stock exhaustion.

  9. Right to Amend: El Mex reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or extend this promotion at any time without prior notice.

1. Promotional Period:
​This offer is valid exclusively on Thursday 20th August 2026 during normal store opening hours.


2. Eligible Locations: Valid across all El Mex physical locations in the UK.


3. How to Redeem:
1. This offer is only available when ordering directly at the counter with our staff.
2. You must inform the server at the counter that you wish to redeem the offer prior to payment.
3. You must show valid proof of your 2026 GCSE results (physical result sheet or official digital result notification) to staff at the point of order.

1. Promotional Period:

3. How to Redeem: To claim, customers must enter or apply the promotional code AVODAY at checkout via the El Mex online ordering platform (elmex.uk/order) for collection, or via in-store self-service ordering kiosks.


4. Qualifying Items: The code entitles the customer to one (1) free portion of extra guacamole when added to a qualifying full-priced main dish (e.g., burrito, naked burrito, quesadilla, loaded nachos, loaded fries) per order.


5. Exclusions:

  • Excludes all meal deals, bundled offers, kids' meals, and sides-only purchases.

Father's Day Social Media Competition 2026

Terms & Conditions
 

1. The Promoter

The promoter is El Mex Burrito Bar (ELMEXICANA LIMITED Unit Q, Gunnels Wood Park, Gunnels Wood Road, Stevenage, Hertfordshire SG1 2BH).
 

2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 or over.

  • Employees of El Mex Burrito Bar, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
     

3. How to Enter

  • The competition opens on Monday 15th June 2026 and closes strictly at 2:00 PM BST on Friday 19th June 2026. Entries received after this time will not be counted.

  • To enter, users must like the promotional post, follow @ElMexBurritoBar on Instagram, and tag at least one user in the comments section.

  • Multiple entries are permitted (each unique comment with a tag counts as a separate entry).

  • Sharing to Instagram Stories counts as one additional bonus entry per user profile.
     

4. The Prize

  • The prize consists of the "Father’s Day for Two": Two (2) Large Burritos, two (2) portions of regular Seasoned Mexican Fries, and two (2) standard soft drinks.

  • The prize must be claimed and collected in-store or via Click & Collect Saturday 20th - Sunday 21st June 2026 only.

  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other menu items.
     

5. Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received during the promotional period.

  • The winner will be announced via El Mex Burrito Bar’s official Instagram account on Friday 19th June 2026 at 2:00pm.

  • The winner must direct message (DM) @ElMexBurritoBar to claim their prize within 24 hours of notification. If the prize is unclaimed after 24 hours, El Mex reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
     

6. Publicity & Data Protection

  • By entering, the winner agrees to have their Instagram handle shared on El Mex Burrito Bar’s social channels for winner announcement purposes.
